Salvia involucrata 'Hadspen' grows quickly when it warms up. Mine needed to be on some kind of support such as a trellis of some kind. In the pic I had that tied to the guardrails on the deck. Flowers were very pretty and large. I started a cutting easily and stuck that one in the ground next to the house to see if it would survive my winter. I went out just today and found some growth already!
