KarenHolt , I put a couple of the sage seeds (lyreleaf) and a few Lady in red seeds , into a window shelf bottle to test germinate them ,, One of the Lady in red Salvia seeds has broke open , and germinated , (to small to photo ) That was overnight , poof
All others are quiet ,, You must have "Freaky" ground temperatures . or something eating roots in colder seasons ,Those should all grow really well in your zone ,,
I will get a photo up here if it is okay ,(the seedling )
In the Butterfly garden if a plant is not chewed up I feel like a failure
