Salvia and Basil can be as slow as Hibiscus to emerge , The older they get , the bigger the root , the earlier they will emerge (that does not apply from seeds though does it )
Karen , your seedlings all look pretty good , A few seedlings though ,, Only gets my anticipation going to overwhelming ,
Here are some wild yellow and a wild all pink Mimulus ,, A water plant , of sorts ,
Photo not great , The seeds of these are as small and smaller than fern spores

In the Butterfly garden if a plant is not chewed up I feel like a failure
