I remember when Silver Queen was introduced in the 60's. It was our absolute favorite up until we had Shoe's Kandy Korn which is by far the sweetest sweet corn I've ever eaten.
But Shoe is 3 hours away so we don't always get to enjoy his bounty and another that we're enjoying in the past two years is peaches 'n cream. It's really good.
Same here Polly, I love the fragrance of going to all the produce stands this time of year. Yum!
My favorite summer supper is fresh green beans, corn on the cob, cucumbers and onions, sliced tomatoes, with cantelope for dessert. It just doesn't get any better than that, huh??
