Without a southern window in full sun or sufficient artificial lighting they'll grow leggy stems reaching for the light, but they'll survive just fine and bulk right up again when they're outside in full sun for a week or two.

Here's mine, just planted it outside after months during winter growing indoors. You can see it didn't look too good at that point.
