2-3 year old grafted tree peonies establish and settle in far better than their older counterparts, Solaris Farms is working on hybrizing for beauty AND winter hardiness. Less winter kill means more blooms or ones that die down in the winter and come up from under ground to bloom. He had shown us one that does that in evaluation. Very exciting for us northerners!
