Well about another 3 weeks have gone by and what a change out there . I have been working in the gardens waging my annual battle against dandelions and finishing cleaning out gardens ( there is lots to do ) that didnt get done before the snow flew in December . I have to act quickly cuz things are growing in leaps and bounds .I am hoping we don't get nailed later on with a late frost ....that would be disheartening . Daylilies are sprouting some are up as high as 3 inches just in the last few days others just breaking ground now . I have my first flowers on one of the varieties of Lungwort that I grow and of course the snowdrops are blooming everywhere . I am usually at the point this time of year feeling like spring will never get here but this year has been such a mild winter that I think we are there.......Woo hoo! I LOVE IT !
