When I was up in the g'house late this afternoon I saw that my chalice vines have 2 buds!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (doing a happy dance...........) I never thought they would bloom when they are so small.........like, maybe 2 feet tall. I thought they needed to be big, long, ginormous vines. Don't know if I will be able to get a pic tomorrow...........I'll try.
When I bought "it"............I realized that with the cost of the postage, I might as well buy 2. "The heir and the spare", if you will. LOL Knowing that they WILL get large, I planted the 2 of them in a 24 inch tub with a trellis in the middle last fall when I put them in the g'house.. Maybe I should put an obliesk in the pot instead???? Hmmm............with my luck the roots are wound around the 2 trellis prongs.
