You're right on top of things, Rita!

I've been to the gym the past two day so I'm taking today off. It's a nice sunny day but cold. I'm trying to talk myself into taking a walk but so far I'm not listening to myself. :-)

I was informed that this afternoon "we" will be going out in the cornfield and pick up pieces of netwrap that was around the big fodder bales that was froze into the ground when the SU went to pick bales up. No clue how long that will take. Then "we" are going to rake rocks out of the yard that he managed to push all over creation when he plowed snow all winter. After that "we" are going to pick up shingles that the wind blew off of the barn last week. "We" will be busy...............

So today it is so raw and damp feeling that as soon as I was out I just wanted to get back inside. But we bundled up and went for a short and fast walk. Not a long one, only took us 45 minutes.

I got on the treadmill for an hour first thing this morning. Then I worked outside for a few hours. Now I'm going to work the couch for a few hours!

"We" are done with all that outside stuff. Actually, the picking up the netwrap was great for me...........I got to drive the tractor and the SU walked on ahead in the field and pulled the stuff up and put it in the tractor bucket. The shingle pickup and the gravel raking/pick-up required the "armstrong method".......... Rolling on the floor laughing

I did all of my exercises, including the new ones. However, it took hours to get through them because I had to take breaks between sessions because of muscle spasms ... Hilarious!

I can't say I really exercised, but I went through the movements slowly so the muscles were worked, but not strained. Since a lot of the floor work I do involves stretches, my back actually felt a whole lot better than it did when I got up this morning.

I have found that when I am dealing with these kinds of muscle spasms, it's best if I keep moving. If I rest on the couch just cuz I think I am hurting, I really, really hurt the next day.

From past experience, I think tomorrow will be a lot better. We are supposed to have more rain, so I won't be doing any gardening work in addition to the exercises. Yeah, I'll be doing housework like I did today, but I think I can handle it just fine.
I'd rather weed than dust ... the weeds stay gone longer.

This is unrelated to healthy lifestyle, but this rose 'Blue Girl'. I thought someone might like it.

I took my usual 3 mile exercise walk with my dog. We were slow today as it took us near two hours. Can't blame Lily. It was me that wanted to dawdle and walk slowly.

I got through all of my exercises today with no breaks ... Hurray! and no muscle spasms ... Hurray! Hurray!

I had very little pain while exercising, but I still moved slowly and carefully.

Things should be even better tomorrow ... Smiling

When I was up in the g'house late this afternoon I saw that my chalice vines have 2 buds!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (doing a happy dance...........) I never thought they would bloom when they are so small.........like, maybe 2 feet tall. I thought they needed to be big, long, ginormous vines. Don't know if I will be able to get a pic tomorrow...........I'll try.

When I bought "it"............I realized that with the cost of the postage, I might as well buy 2. "The heir and the spare", if you will. LOL Knowing that they WILL get large, I planted the 2 of them in a 24 inch tub with a trellis in the middle last fall when I put them in the g'house.. Maybe I should put an obliesk in the pot instead???? Hmmm............with my luck the roots are wound around the 2 trellis prongs.

Took an exercise walk with my dog and then went to work on the garden. I am still working on my spring rose prunning and then I also worked on setting up some more tomato cages.
