I woke up to about 2 inches of snow on the ground, and significantly more is expected on Thursday! I hope that this 2 inches melts before the next blast of winter tomorrow. Where I am, there are still mounds of old snow and old snow out under the trees. I am in a forested area, so it takes longer for the snow to melt in spring. In more open areas, the snow has mostly melted, except where there are mounds left from snowplowing. I was hoping for an early spring this year after the past two hard winters we suffered through, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen
