Yes, the Master Naturalist organization is worth its weight in gold! It helps so much having people volunteer...many times things won't get done if only paid employees are used. And just think how many people learn from it and become aware of the natural wildlife and plants that are out there, especially native species that can become endangered. It teaches about what harm humans are doing to the environment and the consequences of that. Maybe someday I can go back and participate again. Right now, there's so much I have to deal with I just can't, but wish I could.
