Thank you for the nice welcome. It has been way too long. I wanted to tell @drdawg I just trimmed back the white ginger in the greenhouse. It bloomed for weeks and the entire greenhouse smelled so pretty. I had nothing in there except what was not lost during my recovery. The big plants, bougainvillea ( red, orange, pink and white), mandevilla, jasmine and ginger were outside and brought in before frost. Here is a pic of how the one looked when they were in the GH. It is heartbreaking to think this is all I have left of the GH plants....the happy thought is that I still have a few in the house that I may be able to save and make healthy again.
All have been trimmed now and the last picture looks like they do now. What a difference a day makes. They actually bloomed until just a few days ago when it got very cold in the GH. I left them dry out good and cut them back for the winter. I am sure they will be very happy in the Spring. I keep them on my deck most of the summer. Thanks for letting me share these with you. I truly missed our chats.
