Now I have a new mouse. This could be the problem since I was using a laser mouse with a wire and it was fast and I set the settings slower but it was a problem with my arthritic fingers. We will see how this post goes. My windows 7 is what I got when XP gave up. My technician refuses to even attempt to install Windows 10 for me unless it is the last resort since he said I will be miserable trying to get used to it and I am too old to put me through that. He said it with a smile. I hit him.
Anyhow, I am sticking with Windows 7 until I have no other choice. There were 9 updates on 7 that were not installing on my computer and no matter what Microsoft and my Tech did would it not allow them to upgrade. Microsoft wanted $300 to just look at it. He did not want to pay that when he knew as much as they did. Somehow my Windows 7 just said NO to those and that is when they decided to reinstall the entire system. We backed it up and it took me almost two days to put in and have it accept all of the upgrades necessary for me to work on this machine. I told him to do what he had to and he spent 4 hours here and two days at his office with him hooked into my PC somehow that he could watch it updating as it went on for those two days. He only charged me for 4 hours since we are friends and I insisted. He drove here four times and spent more than four hours here before he decided what they could do. So, with my discount it was
worth it since my computer is only a few years old. He just built it when the JCP&L outage blew up the old one over and above my power surger. Now I have a surge protector for my surge protector plus a rebuilt machine and a new windows 7. You wonder why I want to give up the internet?
