LOL, same story here... I loved XP, skipped 2000 and Vista, and then had one heck of a time switching over to 7 when I bought a new laptop; that was about 6 years ago. Now I'm okay as far as using Win7, but the updates drive me bonkers... my computer is a laptop and a couple of times the updates just kept going and going and going and never finishing... couldn't shut the computer down, ended up having to take the battery out and then putting it back in after a few minutes. Plus, every time Windows updated the drivers for my (older) HP printer would get screwed up and I couldn't use the scanner until I reinstalled the drivers, etc etc. I recently saw a desktop computer running XP being offered for free and was tempted to get it... no wonder so many people are just using their phones for the internet!
