Not a great idea!
Seeds won't germinate all that well because there are germination inhibitors in the gel surrounding the seeds. That is the reason many gardeners ferment the seeds and gel before saving the seeds.
And don't put tomatoes in refrigeration!
That is part of the reason commercial tomatoes do not have taste!
Grow some tasty heirlooms, and your time, money and energy will be rewarded.
