@kousa - I noticed yesterday afternoon that 'Big Snowbird" is producing THREE scapes! I sure wished there was another plant getting ready to bloom at the same time .... so I could do some hand-pollinating. Instead, I am going to have to try my hand at freezing pollen. Maybe I can get that to work this time. (Fingers crossed.)
