It was quite perplexing to me, the first time I saw the word noid as well as a few other strange ones. I prefer typing it out as No ID or No identification but in this technical age, noid seems to be the norm. I remember a few years ago when someone on another site explained the meaning of a bunch of words that were very strange to this old gal.
The only ones I remember right off the top of my head are:
DH - Dear Husband
SO - Significant Other
DD - Dear Daughter
DS - Dear Son
TY - Thank you
TYVM - Thank you very much
TTYL - Talk to you later
