Hi Liz, the coke did happen to me more than once. I have totally learned it with the last accident when bits of icky caramel gooey bits covered the whole freezer. Had to remove everything and turned off the fridge in order to clean it. So I have great sympathy for what you went through. But I love your sense of humor about it esp. your title for this thread.
