I can not believe it is to snow tomorrow....rain and snow. I am so glad I did not put out any plants yet, but my daffodil field is a mess. Some of the hybrids never came up, others came up early, got snowed on, came up again, more freezing rain, and when they did finally have a few weeks to bloom the blooms did not last more than a few days. Poor babies out there in the cold they have no idea what to do. I think they will all be gone by tomorrow night. I could cry.

How they used to look this time of year. We put more bulbs in since then.

What is looks like now. Heartbreaking to watch them die. All the beautiful dutch hybrids are gone.

I used to sell them wholesale and here are the ones I used to sell to florists.....we sell none of them now. There aren't enough to make it worth the trouble. We just give them to friends and family and at least some people enjoy them.

Don't talk to me about weather. I am just hanging in there and the snow tomorrow may just put me over the edge. Shrug! Sighing! Grumbling Angry Thumbs down Sad Need I say more?
