Thanks for the welcome, Carol. I grow everything in containers so I'm not worried about crowding out, just dying out in case I forget something, like food or water. I love the flowers but get tired of looking at all that boring green stuff while I wait for them. Does the papaver foilage always turn yellow at the base? If so, next time I'll be sure to underplant with something interesting.
