News...We had our meeting with the Preservation Commission. It started at 530pm and lasted until 1100pm. It was grueling. We had 32 people speak and only one was against. We were the biggest group this commission has seen. There are seven people on the Commission one of which is the person who develop the planting guidelines that were the heart of our dilemma. She spoke first and then we all did our three minutes each. The outcome is that those guidelines are now out until a new set can be work out with more input from experts of various disciplines and with input from the volunteers who manage the gardens. I expect this will be a long drawn out process and the results may be the same or worse. Who knows. The entire meeting is available at the City site. April 13. We were second on the agenda. We started about 2 hrs in I think. I couldn't listen to it all again. Too soon. I tip my hat to you. Edited to add simple hyperlink BB code but it didn't seem to work. Copy and past this and you'll see the meetings listed. OUrs was April 13th 2016 http://sacramento.granicus.com...
