(that's the LARGER neighborhood of orchid craz... (Oops!) enthusiasts.
I lost about 3/4 of my orchids about 3 years ago when I move to Reno from CA. My greenhouse was supposed to be done by August. I moved all my plants to Reno anticipating they would have to live in a spare room for maybe a month. Nine months later, the greenhouse was complete enough to move into but most of my plants were dead. Too little light, too little humidity and too little water.
Then I dumped a few more because I didn't want to deal with mealybugs in my brand new greenhouse.
