Jovibarba hirta are especially hardy, and are native to different parts of Europe. They are also referred to as rollers as they have very short fragile stolons that break and send the little round offsets rolling away from the parent. It doesn't take long for them to make a dense, mat that covers the ground. You just have to love these little guys.
