I haven't been able to hobble down to the area where I have that one particular Purslane I wanted to get a photo of but I haven't forgotten! As a matter of fact that's all I've been thinking about, not the photo but taking cuttings! Last fall I had planted an evergreen grass in the 'pocket' I left on the top of my column at the top of the driveway (the pebble address sign I posted on the Garden Art forum). Well the grass never made it through the winter and I had intended to plant something else but what? It's a "hot spot", meaning it doesn't get the daily watering that my other containers do. I was looking at the column this morning and a light bulb went off!!! Why not try Purslane there? I was reading your article Becky and this line caught my eye: Not needing much water is a bonus. It would be perfect to spill out of the pocket if it works - wish me luck! Whistling
