@Cinta you are absolutely right. I just got started on this new garden project last summer after a hiatus of several years, so had to have everything every written, of course. When I decided I had to make my first quilt (g'child on the way, donchano), it cost me nearly $3K because I had to have everything. I won't renew with FG because so much just doesn't apply to me either zonewise or because I'm all containers all the time. I think I'll just sometimes get the 'Container Gardening' pub if a particular article appeals to me. Now that I'm getting more comfortable with putting more than one plant in one pot I've got my own ideas, too. There is one that I'm kinda going to copy, but I just want to.

I've been to HD twice today, Armstrong once (more begonia hiemalis), lunch with the "girls" and the grocery store and now the dog wants to take me for a walk. Really? Specific purpose purchases, tho. I'm getting way better about impulses since they don't fit anywhere and I wind up killing them anyway.
Can't complain too loud about how the ball bounces when I'm the one who dropped it.
