Since she will be cutting them tomorrow, I will give my spiel on removing pollen stains from clothing:

1. Do not try to brush or rub it off.

2. Press tape straight down on pollen spot, then pull up. Repeat with fresh piece of tape until most of the stain has been removed.

3. For any remaining stain, place clothing in sun (sun angle should be as direct as possible). It usually takes but 20 or 30 minutes to remove the stain. Sometimes it is just as effective to place in the sun first. For me it seems to vary with the pollen.

4. For my skin (hands usually) I wash with regular bar of soap to get rid of as much as I can, then use rubbing alcohol. The dye in the stain is soluble in the alcohol.
