Use a fatty chopmeat - like 80/20
Add half can of Hunts meatloaf sauce
Only use one egg
But soak 3-4 hawaaian rolls ( per each pound ) of meat in milk or cream and shred..so 1.5 pounds meat - 6 rolls
Don't add dry bread crumbs
Do add 1/4 cup shredded fresh parm or cheddar to the mix
If he will eat mushrooms, or sweet onion or any combo of those -slice thin saute dark in butter ( not a lot ) or with a slice of bacon
No garlic
Salt only when done after it resrs for 10 min.
He just may fool you and like it. It will not be dry
And it will have enough man fat in it
And it is tasty
It makes a great sandwich with a fresh cold tomato slice
