I looked at the Flowers By The Sea website and he shows purple with green calyces, just like you do.

@FBTS Kermit Carter, the owner of Flowers By The Sea will chime in and talk about this. I don't know what variety Robin Middleton really has that he shows for 'Betsy's Purple', since he shows purple with black calyces.
