Hi Sharlene, again me ,I checked but not finished your rose list in ATP, mine is yet to be completed but we do share quite a few. Some you have listed are available here from our major rose nurseries. Others may exist in private gardens from where if amenable one could get cuttings. Many will stay on the wish list and belong to the drool/sigh category... Green Grin! . But thanks to that I might want to reinvent the wheel and try to produce a unique rose with similar characteristics as those of this last list but with some added characteristic. Amazingly it may be easier to develop a new hybrid than go thru the red-tape and harass in trying to import in small quantities roses from Europe all the way down to Patagonia! :sigh:
I wonder if the absence of other types of roses in your list is just a matter of taste ( i.e Old garden roses or English roses) or caused by your location. How high is your elevation and how dry or wet are your summers? I expect cool evenings but very bright sunny days in your summer and quite a lot of snow covering your plants in winter but not continentally cold. My drool/sigh list contains heavily scented blues(lilacs) and striped roses and some of the apricot blends.
btw, my lake area was known as la Suiza argentina and Swiss settlers arrived here about a century ago. I don't know if any from Sankt Gallen specifically.
Keep up with your wonderful work. Thumbs up Thumbs up Arturo
