I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database! Plant Identifier
it is a wild columbine, they do reseed prolifically. they bloom mainly in the spring, and then have sparse blooms off and on after that. The plants themselves are not invasive and pull out easily. Hummingbirds like them, I don't think they have a scent much. The seeds are tiny and black, kind of like a poppy seed.
