Donald, you are blessed! We got a hail storm a couple of weeks ago and my plants were shredded. I lost buds on quite a few plants. I can't image what damage golf ball size hail could do. I've had to cut those shredded leaves and hope I get new scapes later in the season. The storm lasted only for twenty minutes, but the damage might last a season. My fruit trees suffered as well...more plums and peaches on the ground than what was left on the trees.
