If you want to watch something, go to Wunderground and key in Washington KS. You will see a small thunderstorm forming. Over the next few hours you will likely see it explode into a serious storm. The weather here at 0530 was cool, no wind and very stable air. About 2 hours ago the wind shifted out of the SW at about 20 mph with much higher gusts. This is the warm air that NWS said would dig under the cool dry line and cause updraft. The other thing is there is no cap in the atmosphere. What that means is any storms that do form will have nothing to limit them in height. That is not good. Also, the sun is shining just enough to heat the storms.
This could be fun to watch if wasn't for the fact it will head my way. I did get some pictures today, just haven't had time to post.
Still hoping the whole mess misses and falls apart. Not only for our sake but for you folks downstream from here.

Blessings
