It's a pretty hardy plant, so I would think quite a while. Are you stewing about its ultimate home, or waiting for something? I'd think it would do fine all summer in a large enough pot if need be. It will need something to climb, and you may need to cut it back when you do plant it out, but it can take hard pruning. Welcome to NGA, hope you enjoy it here.
