Don't even get me started about the deer. I'm old, but I'm still able to climb up on that soapbox. Sadly, it's a waste of time. My neighbor has a deer feeder that goes off twice a day, and a herd of twenty deer come running across the road. Four have been hit by cars by my front fence. No change from neighbor. He "loves his deer" - which is ironic considering he feeds them corn which is not healthy for them. Another lady in the area likes to show how the deer will eat carrots out of her hand - and she's given them names. My comment that they are NOT pets falls on deaf ears.......Same lady also puts out cat food for raccoons and bragged that she counted 23 in her backyard one night. Seriously. That's why my whole garden is turning into salvias. The deer eat almost everything else.
