Well, it gives me hope if Becky has never had rust in her climate. Right now, rust is in our gardens, nor rampant yet, but with all the rain and mild temps I can only wonder what will be happening in a few days. Galaxy Explosion is planted right in there with all our other daylilies, and rust is on a few that are not far away. We will not spray this plant, want to see what happens in the future. I love the color of this one and I know it is not a large flower, but that's okay. It sounds like it is an excellent plant, and I hope we get blooms this year.
