I think it is Bess Bockstace. I bet I got it from Swenson Gardens. It didn't bloom its first year but now this year looks really nice with several blooms. Nice fragrance too! It has been hot and humid and she doesn't seem to care one bit. I love that. A bit of raiin too and she is still standing. What a lovely pink.
Rose Heart was a Bockstace/ Landis peony. From pictures, they don't look the same. Does anyone have Rose Heart from a reputable source? The deep rose inside would be lovely if it is as striking as photos I have seen. I
Suppose the two could be sister seedlings.... Same hybridizer and all.
