It is my neighbors plant that she allows me to admire. She believes it to be around 30 years old, but she was unsure of how old it was when she got it--she says it was around 18". As far as the health, we usually have the perfect climate for them here. Long dry summers, mild winters, high humidity, and sandy soil.
