Be very careful with poison ivy. I used to be able to mow it with a lawnmower with no ill effects. My body apparently built up an extreme dislike for the stuff, so now if I touch it in any way, I'm on steroids for a couple weeks. It's the only thing on my property that I use Round up on. I figure the toxins are less harmful used minimally on the plant than putting poison in my body to treat the reaction. In our area for the past several years, we are seeing a huge increase in the amount of poison ivy for some reason.
