What a super idea! Gail Korn in NE posted a picture of a quilt block she'd done on her barn some years ago. It was a simple green and white pattern but she'd planted hostas in front of that barn and it made a totally wow look. You have many beautiful patterns to choose from, but my thoughts would be to pick something that would be recognizable and easy to see from a distance, something your visitors would immediately recognize as a quilt pattern. Thus, I like the traditional quilt patterns - the red and green on the white background was my absolute favorite! Good luck with this project.
