hi Stewart and Cindy,

I'm a newbie too: I was 'infected' with the Daylily virus last year :-)

I have this rule of thumb:
Long stalks or in places where they poke my eye when gardening: cut it off at the base Hilarious!
Futher away in the border and not easy to reach: leave them untill Fall and they can be pulled without any trouble Hilarious!

Don't know if this is the best way, but I always think that gardening should be fun, not 'work' Thumbs up

Mayo

BTW: about your message at the bottom ('Oma and Opa Simon').. are you Dutch? Thumbs up
a DL flower a day keeps the doctor away
