Hi all. I've had a Kentia palm for 6 years. Over the last year, fronds started turning brown and leaves drying out. I've never moved it from its location and only water sparingly and occasionally. I decided to repot it with fresh compost. When I did, the main trunk just fell off. I am now left with a clean root ball in fresh compost but no fronds whatsoever. I have left the crowns just above the soil and placed the pot back in it's original position. My question is: is this all in vain or will my Kentia grow new fronds?
