in australia,these are called 'the old christmas lily'- it becomes confusing from there,because then,'regale was called 'the christmas lily'-it gets worse,because,as a child,i was raised to know,the'longiflorum' as a christmas lily=-=-i do know,not many people grow them here.,.and only for the fact that i had a great,gardenwise,greenfingered 'mentor'i take mine very much for granted,.,i have about 10 ,forgotten ,seed raised seedlings in a pot i discovered on sunday,..i dont think many people here appreciate what they are,or their rarity,.,.or how tempremental they are!-who knows,'tastes may change'.
lily freaks are not geeks!
