I've always been taken by the saturated white of Lilium candidum floral photos. I've yet to see one face to face. (The bulb you gave me, Tracey hasn't bloomed yet. I never thought I'd say this about any of my gardens, but I don't think it is alkaline enough where it is.)

Remember DG had a Moon Garden forum? I posted there once when I found that my Wolf's Lilac (Syringa wolfii) flowers positively glowed in the moonlight.
