Garden Sages Plant Identifier
Biennials live two years: the first year spent growing a plant, the second year blooming and growing seeds. Then it dies. Lupines are perennial but some perennials take two years to mature to bloom size. Hollyhocks are perennial or biennial, depending upon the strain.
