Muddymitts said:No -- not a *politically correct* issue, Leon -- Arlyn was having a quiet chuckle over my mole trap adventures of days gone by. I had purchased and applied a specific mole trap -- with great difficulty. I'm probably not strong enough to set the trap well -- I tried and tried, and fought with it, and finally got some semblance of what the picture showed it to look like when set. It wasn't an hour later that my husband drove the truck into the yard to unload groceries at the back door -- and drove over the damn thing. Grumbling I shared my mole-trap-woes with Arlyn who was polite enough not to laugh. At least, if he did he didn't say so. Whistling Whistling Whistling

I can relate to this: Big time! & not funny. I had just bought a brand 'spankin' new lawn tractor several years ago & had set a 'forgotten' mole trap in the lawn. The result was disastrous! (And EXPENSIVE) Grumbling I rarely tell anybody about that, and my wife could not understand WHY I had to have a new blade for the deck! Whistling Whistling Whistling A lot of 'troubled water has flowed under my proverbial bridge' over the years.

My 'baby's' name was Prissy after a comic strip several years ago. I even saved a paw print from her last trip outside. She was a Rat Terrier, and I'm looking for another one this year: Hopefully soon!
