Hi,

Irises do well in Maine. One of the NGA members in Maine is active on the Irises Forum and she might be helpful to you. Member is Linneaj and you could send her a treemail if you want to pick her brain.

Found a few plants in the database that you might like and may be able to easily locate. Some of the names have a slightly different spelling. Smiling Another option is to have a Daylily, Iris, or other plant seedling named in her honor. Group hug

Debra

Purple Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea 'Kim's Knee High')
Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum 'Kimberley')
Thickleaf Phlox (Phlox carolina 'Kim')
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Kim's Magic')
Hen and Chicks (Sempervivum 'Kim')
It’s okay to not know all the answers.
