I have always grown Vandas from the beginning of my obsession (?) with Orchids and I love them, but I also like the 'mini Vandas' very much.
Look for Darwinaras or as they are now called Vandachostylis. They look like Vandas, but a bunch of them will fit on a windowsill. Also Neostylis are in this grouping, like Neostylis Lou Sneary etc. Many of these pretty little gems have Neofinetia falcata in their parentage and happily many bloom several times a year. Ascofinetias are another group. ( most vendors still use old names). Also Renanetias, like Renanetia Sunrise.
