I've not tried any but so many confuse P. umbraticola with P. oleracea (both ornamentally and culinarily) that there must not be much difference in taste. You can find TONS of blog/forum posts with pics of people's "yummy" P. umbraticola plants. They are *still* reports this growing season of these plants being sold with labels that say P. oleracea.
