Not a problem, I have actually made them for a friend that were about 4-1/2' apart. She used them as permanent walkway arches with vines growing on them. Just take your time pulling the tops together and make sure they are secure before removing the rope. I prefer using Hog Rings to hold the tops together. Thumbs up

I forgot to tell you to use 6-1/2 or 7-foot "T"post so that you can drive them a bit deeper in the ground. Be sure and leave the 6-inch space at the bottom.
