Being that this is only my second season growing daylilies, I haven't experienced many losses yet, but I'm wondering what the typical loss percentage is, averaged out among most daylily growers. I wonder if most losses occur because of cultivars that someone took a chance on, knowing that...say, it's an evergreen that no one else up north grows, but it's worth taking the risk to try it out up north....versus things like varieties that are just inherently weak and succumb to the first disease or other ailment that sets upon it.
